Smith Mountain Lake Weddings website was started in April 2006 by me, Kerry Keeney. My goal is to help bring more wedding business to our community and to help Brides and Grooms find local businesses that are there to help them with all of thier wedding needs.
After planning my own wedding in August 2005, I realized that there wasn't a local resource to help me find the businesses that I needed for our wedding. That is when I decided to start www.SMLWeddings.com.
Smith Mountain Lake Weddings grows every month with more local businsses and more features on our websites. Smith Mountian Lake Weddings not only offers a 24 hour website full of wedding information but we also offer wedding coordinating services (www.kerrykeeney.com), Wedding Invitations, Ceremony & Reception Accessories, Linen Rentals and More! We are happy to be here to help bring Brides and Businesses together!
Della Jamison:
Della Jamison has been a supporter of Smith Mountain Lake Weddings from the very beginning. Della is a resident of Wirtz and has spent most of her life being a very crafty person. She was the previous owner of DSH Crafts and has helped with many weddings of friends and relatives over the years. Della has stepped in and became an Assistant Wedding Coordinator at Smith Mountain Lake Weddings and assists Kerry with wedding receptions and cermonies. A recent graduate from Virginia Western Community College she is a full time employee at M&W Manufacturing in Rocky Mount, VA.
